Theodora Antonakaki joined Space Syntax as a Project Consultant in December 2004 and became and Associate in January 2007.
Dora has extensive experience ranging from architectural to urban design, masterplanning and regeneration projects, working for both public and private sector clients. In the past year she has worked as project leader for various urban and building projects in the UK and abroad. She has also been involved in a series of masterplanning projects working with the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment.
She is a qualified architect originally from Greece, where she has worked in architectural design. Dora is currently carrying out doctoral research at the Bartlett, University College London and has presented her research at various conferences. Her work focuses on public buildings where she is investigating the effects of environmental and lighting factors on movement and interaction patterns. She has been a visiting lecturer at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a critic at architectural and urban design courses.
