Anna Rose

Anna Rose is a trained architect with a specialism in urban design and masterplanning. She has seven years professional experience in various practices in Germany, the UK and the US.

Anna has extensive experience advising both private and public sector clients in the design development and planning processes, and has lectured to architectural and landscape design audiences both in the UK and Germany.

She trained at RWTH Aachen, Germany and as an exchange student at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. She joined Space Syntax as a Project Consultant in 2002, and became a Director in 2007.

In the UK, Anna has been involved in a large number of masterplans: Birmingham, Harlow North, Covent Garden and Camden Town.

Anna is currently leading the ongoing work on the Central Urban Area Masterplan in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has also contributed to various public space projects including Potters Field Park in London and Nottingham Old Market Square, as well as to a number of high profile mixed use developments, such as One New Change and 20 Blackfriars Road.

Anna has been a member of the CABE Space Enabling Panel since 2006. She is also leading the company’s activities in the German market.
